I have been pondering and researching vacation spots for the last two days and well I need help. So I figured I would bring it to my bloggy friends & even the lurkers. Okay my birthday is in a few weeks so I had a conversation the other night about going somewhere since I'm off work that following Monday. Aaron asked me where I would want to go which really got me thinking. My first thought was .....hmm...CABO!! I guess since its getting cold here I thought a beach would be fun or maybe it was the fact we were eating Mexican food. Anyways he reminded me real quick that I DO NOT have a passport. {neither does he} So I then decided California or New York again!! Its such short notice so I'm not pushing the envelope...Ill have a grand time here my friends and family.
Okay here is where I need HELP! You bet yalls tail I made a mad dash to the post office yesterday to get passport applications. haha!! Since they take 5-8 wks I figured we should get on this so that when the time comes to go somewhere I'm not stuck in a rut! So yesterday I was talking to my bestie and we have decided that come the first of the year or closer to summer we want to take a trip somewhere. Her husband made a good point...."lets go somewhere we have never been"....so I think out of this country would be fun but I want to keep it beachy {I dont believe thats a word but it works in this post} and not TOO far. I don't want to be on a 8-12 hour flight. I was thinking somewhere in Mexico or even the Bahamas.
SO WHERE WOULD YOU RECOMMEND?!?!?!?
Please give me some ideas...I need advice...Ive done my research and almost feel like im back at square one. :)

We love the Cayman Islands. Very relaxing, delish food, and crystal clear water!
Turks and Caicos. We went on our honeymoon there and it was paradise.
I have a lot of friends that did honeymoons on the Mayan Riviera and said it was AMAZING! But I like LA's idea of Turks and Caicos...I would love to go there!
Cabo has been my FAVE so far!!! Absolutely loved it!!!
Funny...I was gonna tell you about Turks and Caicos and The mayan Riviera but LA and Can beat me to the punch! My sister loved the Bahamas too...
We went to the Mayan Riviera a few years ago and stayed at an all-inclusive resort. It was WONDERFUL and I would go back in a second!
Al and I went to Playa Del Carmen Mexico a few years ago and LOVED it! It's about an hour outside of Cancun so it's not as crowded and beautiful! I highly recommend the RIU resorts (they have them all over the Caribbean). They made our experience so much more enjoyable. Definitely do an all inclusive thing. That's the way to go :)
Me and my friend Joel have decided that we are gonna move to Zihuatanejo, Mexico in about 7 years. Go there and tell me how it is. haha. It looks purdy!
